INVISIBLE FRIENDS
The conclusion to our Alan Ayckbourn season sees the welcome return of a Ravenshead Youth Theatre Group production in the Village Hall. It’s been 3 years since our last show and we’ve many new faces. We’ve been away too long.
‘Invisible Friends’ is a full length play written with young actors in mind. It tells the story of Lucy, an ordainary teenager living with a family who barely seem to know that she is there. Her Father is constantly glued to the telly, her Mother seems more interested in what the neighbours are doing instead of the achievements of her daughter and her Brother – Grisly Gary, listens to his i-pod all the time.
Little wonder then that Lucy has invented an imaginary friend – Zara – to have conversations with.
The trouble, and all the fun, really begins when Zara starts to think for herself and decides to make drastic changes to Lucy’s life! Suitable for all ages, this play has moral messages for teenagers and parents alike. Performances are on November 22nd & 23rd at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from 0774 2057153 or via Adcock Financial.
