The 40th Anniversary celebration held at the Village Hall, Ravenshead Friday 4th July 2008, was more than a resounding success. The celebration began with a welcome speech from the one of the group's founder members Pauline Cooper, who gave a brief history of the group's formation.
A theme of red and white was chosen for the evening and as can be seen on the photos below, those attending enjoyed a fine buffet and engaged in a night of 'square' (or in some cases round, triangle and oblong) dancing, led by the fine vocalising of Dave Morton.
